Default Change to syn oil at 1st service?

Taking new bike in for 1K service tomorrow. It actually has about 900 mile on it. Would it by OK to have them switch over to Syn 3 or wait until 5K service? I will probably do all services except the 1K myself.
I don't want this to turn in to a dino vs syn debate, just wondering if it is too early to switch.

Thanks

That's about the mileage I went to synthetic, but I went to a full synthetic not a blend, anyway you should be fine.

Alot of bikes and cars come from the factory with full synthetic in them now a day's! I actually changed my Harley oil myself to Moble 1 Vtwin on my 12 Fatboy at 500 Miles. Then took it to the dealer to get the 1k service done just for piece of mind for the warranty and they put in the SYN3! Youll be plenty fine!
