Default What size Progressive 444's on a road king?

I have been searching and searching on here regarding shock height for lowering my 2012 road king FLHR. It is not a classic so it has 13 in shocks. I would like to lower it with the Progressive 444's 11.5 inch. However, some on here say that 11.5 would be to low and get the 12 inch shocks. however, the street glide, road king classic and road glide all have 12 in shocks and people lower them and dont seem to have any problems. I plan on running an 18 inch wheel out back and installing stretched bags so i dont wanna be to low. My old sportster was pretty much a hardtail so im used to a rough ride. Opinions and pics would be greatly appreciated. will the extra .5 inch really make a difference? I have found the 444's on directcycleparts.com for $441.00 shipped. just dont wanna regret it either way.
