Who thinks LSHD should give a refund/ who think not!
I ordered a HD wheel back in Feb. along with a tire, rotors and installation kit. I got the tire and rotors in about a week and the installation kit about a week later since it was on backorder. The wheel was on b/o until April 6. OK I'll wait then it was changed to April 26th and now June 16th. That is a 4 month wait if that date doesn't change and one dealer told me he gave a refund one time after 9 months. Bill has been pretty nice and asked if I wanted a refund (since they charged my card) and cancel. I asked about the other parts which I have and have no use for without the wheel. He said only if I pay a restocking fee of over $100. Now I feel all items are part of the wheel since if I cancel and get a refund I am not going to get a HD wheel and have no use for the items. Am I unreasonable ? or are they for making a couple of extra dollars and never getting another dime from me.? I have used them at least several times over the past 5 years or so. What do you think?

I agree they should eat the $100 if you're hard set on returning them. But why don't you just hold onto the parts you have and get the wheel elsewhere? You clearly saved a good amount of cash on the parts you have in hand.
Are you no longer going to replace your wheel or are you simply returning the tire and install kit to spite them for issues beyond their control (wheel on backorder)?

I called 6 dealers today from NH to NV who showed a HD Blade wheel but not one to be found anywhere. That said, I want a new wheel and it is not going to be HD so those parts are useless to me. So what should I do with them? I am not trying to spite anyone. Actually Bill has been quick to reply and it is not his fault. But the way they choose to run their business just reminds you they are a Harley dealer and I think it is poor practice.
