Makes sense. I think restocking fees are BS too but it probably is out of his hands. Agree that Bill has great communication and does whatever he can to satisfy customers. I've spent a few grand with LHSD, saving hundreds of dollars. Had to wait for a couple of parts on backorder but the overall savings has been worth the wait for me. Only thing I buy locally are parts I need to keep my bike on the road.

If I were you, I'd keep it on backorder till the 26th if it's the wheel you want. It may be in stock before you get the whole thing resolved if you return everything. Good luck!

$100 to go put something back on a shelf?

I'd tell 'em to restock my c*ck!

Good luck with your situation. And be sure to order the matching rear wheel whenever you decide what you want.

Typical retail BS. You should get a full refund at the least. Bad publicity is gonna cost them more than $100 in sales. Sorry it has not worked out for you the blade wheels are bad AZZ.

I would keep the parts, cancel the wheel order and go elsewhere, anywhere else and let them know how the majority of guys on this forum (dealers read this stuff) feel about their money grab.

A restocking fee is not "found" money for them. It costs them money to "return" something to The motor company. They are only allowed to return a certain percentage of their orders , not all of it. And they do have to pay shipping to get it back to Harley or risk having it sit on their shelves for who knows how long. . I think restocking fee is fair in most cases, however under your circumstances I think they should wave it. Chalk it up to cost of doing business and keep the customer happy. Just happens sometimes with parts.
