Who thinks LSHD should give a refund/ who think not!

Makes sense. I think restocking fees are BS too but it probably is out of his hands. Agree that Bill has great communication and does whatever he can to satisfy customers. I've spent a few grand with LHSD, saving hundreds of dollars. Had to wait for a couple of parts on backorder but the overall savings has been worth the wait for me. Only thing I buy locally are parts I need to keep my bike on the road.
If I were you, I'd keep it on backorder till the 26th if it's the wheel you want. It may be in stock before you get the whole thing resolved if you return everything. Good luck!

A restocking fee is not "found" money for them. It costs them money to "return" something to The motor company. They are only allowed to return a certain percentage of their orders , not all of it. And they do have to pay shipping to get it back to Harley or risk having it sit on their shelves for who knows how long. . I think restocking fee is fair in most cases, however under your circumstances I think they should wave it. Chalk it up to cost of doing business and keep the customer happy. Just happens sometimes with parts.
