I am looking for a Trip GPS recap of my rides that I can download onto my computer. I have seen maps of pedal bikes that have been on long rides with mapping of speed and elevation though out the course. I wonder if there is anything like that for the Harley. I have a Iphone 4s and use Navigon and I own a Garmin that I used prior to the iPhone. Any Ideas?

 

go to iTunes on your phone and search for GPS Logger...

myTracks came up and looks like what you are looking for.. is free too

 

If you still have your Garmin go to their website and download Base Camp. Does all of that. There has to be a smartphone app that does the same thing.

 

garmin has logger built into the 450, 550, 660, 665 models (these are the one's i have expreience with). Should be on other models also.

You can look at the data then tell it to save as route then export to your computer.

 

Just another alternative.. I have a gps built into the camera (Luminx zs7 or zs10) when I stop for gas or other reasons I take a pic or pics of the area. When I get home I use Picasa and it shows where each pic was taken thus giving me a map of where I have been plus pictures...
