My dealer told me any parts(Harley that is) that I installed on my 07 Ultra when I initially purchase the bike would become part of the new bike warranty or any extended warranty. I looked into the Heated grips via search and found about 25% had problems with the grips after a period of time but many loved them and re-purchased them anyway.

Since having my bike on order since november I have added as many new parts as I could afford while awaiting delivery which will be the first week of March. The dealer gave me 15% off parts and over 20% off the 7yr extended warranty. BTW I added the Heated grips.

Like BOE 1971200, I changed back from using the larger size grips. My hands are perhaps a bit larger than average and I found them to be less comfortable during long rides - especially if I was wearing gloves. An inexpensivegrip feature I appreciate after adding to my stock sized grips is a Throttle Boss attachment that allows you to use the palm of your hand in addition to or instead of the grip. A number of companies make these. I have the Throttle Boss on my softail and Kuraykyn equivalent on my touring bike.

I am 5' 11" 200 and have large grips. Great on throttle hand, too big on clutch hand. I am going to try small grip on left and see what happens. I think my fingers are too short. I don't think anyone would notice if the grips are the same style.
