Is it just me, my laptop, or this forum creating a lot of jumping around and resizing every page I look at. This is causing distractions and loss of focus. I am trying to learn about the EG UC.

Is there much difference between a 2009 and a 2008 service manual? I can get one that is 2009, but my bike is 2008.

Welcome to the forum from Arizona.....yes the 2009 has a completely new frame to allow the triglide platform, the older frame can't handle the requirement.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like your browser or laptop resizing pages etc..
You need a 2008 manual if you want all the specs for your year bike. As Tucci said, 2009 was a pretty big change in the Touring line.

Welcome bud. Watch eBay for a manual. Or a dealer having a sale. Even if ya have to pay full price, you'll save it back with first service.

The resizing of pages is due to the ads on the pages being interpreted differently by your browser.

Get an ad-blocking app or go to a mozilla based browser and turn the ads off.

You'll want a manual for your bike, not some other year--especially with the changes between 2008 and 2009.

on all accounts. I had the same problem with the page and an ad blocker did the trick. I run FireFox but still had to instal an ad blocker.

When the 2009s came out, Harley advertised there were 450 changes from the 2008s.
I would buy a manual for your bike.

Default Thx

Thanks for the advice. Gonna save some $$$ for the bike by using the service manual and some common sense.
