Plastidipped my chrome horn cover

It should hold up four at least a couple of years. No problem.
I dipped my whole bike last year and overall it looks great except for where it gets a lot of wear like on the sides of my tank, or the lids of my saddle bages. I plan an to just give it a fresh coat this spring for another summer of a "temporary" denim bike. FYI, I just peeled off the dip on one of the saddle bags lids. Came off in one piece and the paint looks like new underneath!
I also dipped the bumpers of my F-150. They handled a full, hard Minnesota winter, with pressurized car washes, and they still look like the day I sprayed them.
I would just recommend at least four coats of dip for an easy removal in the future. It is such a fun product because it allows you to try different looks out on your bike. If you don't like it, or want to chang it you just peel it off. However, do not use this on your exhaust.
