Cool not sure what to do

just put v&h slipons on my 2011 ultra it don't sound to good i was told i need to buy a sac x pipe .also someone told me to decatt my stock pipe, not sure what to do any suggestions.

Lots of info on the forum on this. Fullsac, FuelMoto, numerous true dual systems. Folks also successfully decat their stock head pipe as you mentioned. If the funds are available, I would personally leave the cat alone and go aftermarket. That way you can always put it back "stock" if needed. My stock head pipe is hanging in the garage just in case...

Sound will definitely improve without the cat.

It really depends how you define "good".

I suggest rather than throwing money at it, that you go to a bike night/dealer BBQ etc- anywhere that the bikes are- and see what sound appeals to your ear.

you'll get all kinds of product suggestions, but you and your ear are the best judge.
