thanks for the responses. may look at 2005 heritage softail bars. maybe best bet. gonna have my aunt take out my 09 heritage. I drove her king for the first time tuesday 4 miles in I almost went home and got my heritage. those bars are sooo uncomfortable.

 

Seriously with the old thread? I'll play though........ On Road Kings 2014 and newer they started going with Heritage Bars as their stock bars. You may be able to find one used on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. That what I did and they are the best mod I've done. The stock bars on my 2009 King are pretty much the most horrible stock handlebars in the history of ever.....

 

Whoops.....just noticed you are looking for them for an 05. You still may be able to find them on CL or FB marketplace though. Spread you search window to all over the country. They are cheap to ship.
