Do not use a right-angled bend on a rubber stem!

I only did it once. What happened is the loads it put on the rubber eventually split the stem and there is only one way of getting out of that - on a trailer. A solid metal right-angled stem, fastened directly to the rim if such a thing exists, may be a better solution.

hi. may suggest to buy the stern a bit larger than use drill bit for proper size fit.mrfuji

I have them.. I have stock cast alum wheels.... and they make it a HELL of a lot easier!!!!

The stems Glockmiester linked to are 90 degree alum stems..

This is such a PIA you really think that the MoCo would address it. I put new tires on my Ultra last year. I asked the parts guys if there was anything that they offered that could be put on. They said any non-standard stem could void the warranty. I guess I will wait until the warranty is off before I change, but really, it is just a design that is more towards looking good than working well.

That worries me. I have a set of motorcycle anchors waiting for my next tire change.

This has been a pet peeve of mine ever since I bought the bike. Thanks for posting the website, I just ordered a pair. I love this forum!!!

I guess you better also use only HD brand wax or their void the warranty....Get real people, if the product is installed correctly and did not contribute to the failure of another part they cannot legally void your warranty.

Remember years ago they said do not use synthetic oil in the engines. That's because they didn't sell it at that time. Then they started selling it and all of a sudden it was good for the engine....
