Staying the 13th - 17th

 

When exactly is the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally? I've read 2 different things....May 10 - 19 and May 12 - 19. Which one is correct? I want to go but don't want to show up on the wrong date. Thanks.

Good question. Last year they would not give permits for both weekends. Vendors had to decide what weekend to be open. Some opened any way.

Only place I ever got arrested. Good times. Might be going back this year.

 

I will be there 15 thru 19. I am staying in Ocean Isle, NC. About 20 or 30 miles away but a nice bumper between the noise and peace. I have not seen a problem with the local LEO's. "The city of MB" is a problem, but there are maps all over that shows how to easily avoid the area. For me, personally, a person that drops "locally" about 3 to 400 a day at rallies between, food, hotel and gas, I will never spend a dine in the "City" but go every time I can to support the outside area to thank them for standing by motorcycle riders. The best thing to avoid is Myrtle Beach, I'm done with them after several years of going. For the last two years I have stayed out of Myrtle Beach, going from North Myrtle Beach around to Merrills Inlet. I have not spent one cent in Myrtle Beach and will not. The best thing to do is go to Panama City Beach, FL, now that's a rally.
