Default Summer boots

Hi all,

Can anyone reccomend some summer riding boots that are say about 6 to 8 inches high, light weight and mesh ventilated for riding down here in the deep south?

thanks

Check out "Magnum" boots. They are comfy and the cops wear them around here.

I've been wearing Ridge tactical boots for a few years now. Most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Wear them every day. Many police departments wear them.
They are light, breathable mesh with a soft comfortable sole. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have ankle and feet pain that these boots do wonders for!

I use these.

Amazon.com: Timberland Men's Field Boot: Timberland: Shoes Amazon.com: Timberland Men's Field Boot: Timberland: Shoes

Probably not the best from a safety standpoint, but they're light, cool and comfortable.

I have these, the pair weighs 15.5 oz, nice and light.

I got mine at Academy, but their website doesn't show them, just the ones with zippers. Might have them at the store.

I use my old Army boots--mesh sides, essentially a new (then) version of the issue jungle boot. Go hit the surplus store.

I've got a pair of Speed & Strength boots...they're really comfortable, and have held up very well so far.
