Default Gonna be in the market for some true dual headers...

Here in the next week or so. My question here is 2 part. First, i'll be keeping my own slipons, i just got vance and hines fishtails a few months back and i really do like the look and sound, so i'll only be needing the headers. So, is there any difference from one to the next performance wise? I mean, it's just pipes right? I know of course quality will vary as far as matierals and whatnot, but performance?

Second, what can one reasonably expect to get away with money wise? i see fuel moto has the vance and hines power duals for touring bikes for right around 400 bucks, is this about as good as i can expect to do or are there cheaper, but still reasonable quality options? (i know there are cheaper, but i don't want to spend on garbage only to have to spend again in a couple years).

Thanks for any advice.

Not bad prices..... Decent selection.... Denniskirk.com too

Check out python true dual head pipes too.... Made by drag specialities, basically same as Vance and Heinz and 65 bucks cheaper

What year is your bike? What about a conversion kit like this? I considered this before gettin my V&H big shot true duals.

Vance & Hines Power-duals are not "true duals". They have the chamber that makes them a 2-1-2 header, not true duals.

Vance & Hines does make true dual headers (individual pipes to the left and right sides of your bike).

Are you wanting a 2-1-2 set-up or true duals?
