I put 16" apes on my 99 road king and my cables are +6 and they are perfect. I preferred my cables from hill country customs and got everything except bars for 379.00

 

Tucci... thanks for the picture. Your cable "bow" looks just like my +6 with the 12.5 bars. I use a windshield all of the time and I did not want a bunch of cable rubbing on the windshield. Maybe I can get 14s without new cables! However, 8" wire extensions (internally wired) are at the max with my 12.5s. In hind sight I would have gone with 12" extensions because of all of the extra "storage" room in the nacelle.

I got the black chromite clutch and brake lines as well and they are sweet!

A plug for Magnum Shielding cables.... good quality and helpful service
