Well here goes, I had Andrews cams , high pressure oil pump, gas flowed and 1550 barrels and pistons fitted.
Running in consisted of getting the engine to running temparture and then full bore through the gears, throttle hard up hills and use engine braking down hills for 100 miles.
Result is 102 torques at the back wheel.
Reason is that there is a site that advocates this method with no burning around the skirt of the pistons and clean valve seats, also to compound this theory have you ever wondered why demo bikes always run faster than your pampered bike?
