I was undecided between the PYO MBB's and the Wild 1 578's. The MBB's are quite a bit more expensive but very distinctive looking.

Last week I was in Daytona for bike week and I ordered a pair of the 10" MBB's the the Yaffe both and got 10% + free shipping to my door. That came to about $337.50 all in which was about as good a price I could get anywhere. You see them all day long on e-bay and other places for $359 - $379. And they Yaffe guy told me to watch out for the ones on e-bay especially if they say they have several in stock because there are some fakes out there being sold as PYO MBB's. He said no body has them in stock because they cant make them fast enough to keep up with demand. Thats why it gonna take 4-5 weeks to get mine directly from Yaffe.

I'm just now starting to order the other stuff I will need which will be an easy $200 +. I plan to do the install myself.

My local dealer will charge about a grand for the work alone. I was interested in 13 inch apes. I laughed and walked out. That doesn't include the apes nor the install kit.

I just put on WO578's and changed the clutch cable and painted the inner. I had a friend help me, but its doable by yourself. Take your time and pics and label everything

Bars= $205
Grips= $40
Mirrors= $35
Clutch Cable= $35
Painted inner (Paint/Painting)= $250
Friends Labor= $100

$665 Total

I am very pleased

I spent $1400 on my 16" apes with wires, steel braided cables and labor. It was a lot of money but it made my Road King SO much more comfortable and it looked great!

Sure the sticker shock hurt but my back and shoulders never did again :-)

Ride Safe.

bottom line if you can't do it, don't have time to do it, or for whatever reason need a dealer to do it, it's gonna cost. I flat out didn't have time, but I got away pretty cheap compared to some. It cost me about $900. My buddy just had bars put on his Road King and by the time he was done, it was about $1800.

Did 12 inch pyo monkey bars myself, with the bars and cables, about 750 bones. But my bike looks awesome and I learned a ton about my bike.
