Heated Grip TBW wire plug (now do I plug it back in) 12 RKC
Was wondering how the hell do you plug that back in? I have a 2012 RKC that I'm installing Wild One 515 bars, the bike came w/ the heated grips from the factory. I just removed the old bars today and removed the TBW sensor. When I pulled off the grip the heater plug unplugged from the TBW now I have the end cap off the grip and just cant get that plug to line up. I have tried holding it w/ needle nose pliers w/o any luck!
Any tips?
TIA

Tried that I just cant get it to line up. Does that other insert that has the cogs in it that line up to the TBW sensor possibly pop out so I could plug it in and reassemble?

The instructions for the heated grip kit state:
29. Using a needle-nose pliers or similar tool, carefully grasp
the tab on the wire side of the round rubber plug at the
outboard end of the throttle grip.
a. Insert the plug back through the opening in the grip,
and insert the terminal pins into the sockets at the
end of the twist grip sensor.
b. Press the rubber plug firmly to verify that the pins are
fully seated in the sockets.
30. Install the chrome end cap onto the end of the throttle grip.

Need slack?
If I understand what you're saying and what I've read about HD's heated grips, the wiring harness on the throttle side has a connection for the TBW and the heated grips, your heated grip is unplugged but you can't get the plug from the grips plugged into the connector on the wiring harness inside the handlebar.
Is that correct?
Is there any slack on that harness in the headlight nacell?
Can you get to it, feed it up the handlebar, plug everything back together and then feed it all back down into the headlight nacell?
Good luck!
