Been reading and reading trying to figure out which is best for my Ultra. Just when I think I've got it nailed down, up pops either another EFI module or a thread bi*chin about one. https://www.hdforums.com/m_1248556/tm.htm I was about to go PCIII when a rant started in the EFI area. Complaints about a throttle problem that creates what feel like a pop or miss. The throttle problem seems isolated to Softtails since I haven't seen one post from a bagger.

I just want to change to a KN RK 3909 a/c with a PCIII to allow it to run cooler (aka richer), get a little more *****, etc. Any EG or RK owners have any problems with the PCIII? Or is Thundermaxx and a closed system instead of the PCIII the way to go?

I realize this has as many opinions and answers as blonde brunett or redhead........

I have an O7 Ultra. It ran way too hot for my liking . Went with PC111 & K&N AC - Stock exhaust. No complaints. Runs cooler, Smoother. Easy to install. Bought it through fuelmoto - you get an extra year of warrenty on the PC111 from them and the best price I could find for the unit anywhere
