Default Aftermarket Wheels '06 Street Glide FLHX

Does anyone know if I can replace the stock wheels on my '06 FLHX which are 16 X 3.0, with aftermarket wheels that are 18 X 3.5. I'd like to go bigger as long as I won't have to make any modifications. Any suggestions on matching rubber too? I want to replace both the front and back wheels, if anyone has done it can you tell me if you are happy with the change? Thanks!

it's done everyday; for the rear I would go with 4.25 rim - no ill effects

With a 4,25, you can have a 150 which look good. 3,5 will work too but not as good as 4,25

For the front i use a 3,5 with a 120, works well and be good for a 130 maybe in future

These wheels are for '09 and newer... Lot of work (and $$) to adapt them on your bike...
