Not the best pic in the world and not a floating rotor but stock Brembo brakes are awesome. You can do this with any rotor and save a bundle.

 

Thanks Gunny - I know that is the rear - did you paint the inner side as well when you did the front rotors? Any masking tricks that you might have learned?

 

No I didn't bother with the inner side on the rear since it's impossible to see. As for masking I simply took wide painter's tape and covered the brake pad contact part. Then took a pencil compass and made a radius between the open areas and trimmed it with a razor blade. Whole job only took about 15 minutes. I'm quite happy with my $5 rotors and will probably do the front ones on my other RK. Oh and I polished the OEM rotor bolts while I had them out with a little Mother's. Look like chrome and offset the black nicely.
