I have tried the Cee Baileys, LRS Ultra, LRS X-stream, LRS Stealth, Klock Werks 6.5" and 8.5", and the National Cycle V-stream 10". The V-stream works great in the winter and cooler months. I look through it, all the others I look over the shield and the LRS X-stream and Stealth worked OK. Still looking for the best looking over type shield. I will be trying the V-stream 7.5" shield this spring.

How did you like the LRS Ultra? I just ordered one since they were on sale. Was debating between the LRS and Clearview recurves and the sale cinched it. Thought for the price it was worth a shot. I'm not trying to get totally out of the air, just reduce some buffeting.

It was decent, still had some buffeting from the top of my helmet. I have fork deflectors and lowers so I do not have any air coming up from below. I found that the X-stream and stealth kept the buffeting off the top better but there was more wind on the sides. It is a matter of trial and error with shields, your height etc. play a big part in whether the shield works.

Anyone in the 6'6 range on a street glide using LRS shields? What height and shield are you using? I am looking at their ultra shield but wondering what height.

Same here. 5'11" and the 8" recurve from LRS works great for me.

I currently run an 8" Clearview with a tallboy seat on an '11 Ultra Limited. I do like the shield as far as directing the majority of air over my head. I would like to try a taller shield, possibly a 10" Clearview for the simple reason of rain and bugs coming over the 8" shield and ending up in my face. I tried a HD Windsplitter demo. I was impressed with the way it cut the wind but the distortion was horrendous. Never have tried LRS or Bailey's. Oh ya, I'm 6-1 and sit high in my seat.
