Question about Hertz Speakers
I tried searching for this but didn't find what I was looking for.
I was thinking of adding the Boom Audio speakers to my Street Glide. Based on what I read on the forum they are just what I am looking for - cheap, better sound than stock, no need for new amp.
My buddy told me that he has a pair of Hertz HCX-165 speakers as well as a pair of Renegade RX62 that he would give me.
Does anybody know if either of those two speakers would work well with the current amp?
Or am I best to go with the $150 Boom speakers?
Thanks in advance.

I have the Hertz HCX 690, 6x9's in my Dragon Fly fairing, these speakers as mentioned earlier need some power to make them sound good. Amazon shows the Renegads for $32.84, shipping weight is 5 lbs. Amazon shows the Hertz for $259.95 with. Shipping weight of 11 lbs. if your amp will push it it would go with the Hertz.

I mentioned this in another post...spend $100 and get you a set of JL Audion 5.25. They work way better than the BOOM stuff and sound great with your stock setup. And you save $50 over the boom stuff. I heard some this weekend and they were way better than my $650 J&M rokker speaker/amp setup. Im taking the J&M crap off my bike on friday and going with the tried and true JL audio and memphis audio amp. All for $400 installed into my road glide. dont make the same mistake I made. go with the stuff that they use in cars...way cheaper and way better performance.
