Default 07 CVO ultra or new 2013 ultra ?

The title pretty much says it all I can get an 07 CVO ultra or a brand new ultra for virtually the same price the screaming eagle has 26 K on it has V&H true duals, I rode it yesterday and I really liked the power of the 110 all recalls been done for the problems that the 07 had I not ridden a 103 everyone's opinion would be greatly appreciated the only drawback with the 2013 is it has a cat plus state of Indiana would love me for a few years as my tag rates would be through the roof.
Thanks in advance.

I would go with the new frame on the 2013 Ultra. The CAT removal is a piece of cake.

Would have to go with the new one.

6 years newer

New frame

And a proven motor over one that had a lot of issues.

Plus you get to customize it the way you want.

I really don't have any idea on the HP and TQ. My 11 Road King Classic with the 103 runs pretty good. I will probably pep it up after my warranty is over. I would go ride one if I was you.

The Harley specs list Engine Torque at 100 ft-lb. HP is subject to much speculation...

I would go with the 2013. Better overall bike. If you are looking for a truly one of a kind, make the 2013 yours.

Id go with the 2013 too. As time goes on you could always make the changes you want to the bike.

Thanks for all the replies so far it's unanimous, had they done anything with the cam follower issues on the new bikes I know the 07 has the new roller chain is it that same that the 2013 has.

I think the overwhelming opinion will be to go with the 2013.
I agree. The newer chasis is much better. Throw a leg over one and take her out. Then you can compare apples to apples. CVO bikes hold value a bit better, but making it your own is a bit more satisfying. Customizing a CVO may or may not lower the value.
