Can anyone tell me if you have to retune the new bikes after cat removal?

I've read that some folks don't tune after the "cat" removal.
Personally, I's also change the a/c, have the SERT installed and dyno tuned.
This will make your bike run richer/cooler (which it desperatley needs) and you'll pickup some of the HP and TQ that you liked on the CVO bike.

If you are going to get rid of the stock header, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get a turner of choice! Plus, it will be much, much more cooler.
If just pipes, you will be fine.
Oh yeah, for sure get the 2013 model year.
Good Luck,

Depends on how much you ride, if you rode less than 2000 miles a year, get the SVO because you aren't really missing out on the benefits of a newer bike.

I could be wrong, but I thought the 09 CVOs and California bikes had cats. That is a nice bike.

Hmmmm.....You might be right, not sure. I retract that statement until someone can verify.
Guess my point was I wouldn't buy the 07 CVO when I could move up to an 09 CVO for a little more (that is if he really likes the CVO's)
BTW...I was at that dealership over the weekend and that bike is super clean and sharp!! That's the only reason I knew what the price was.

I would go with the newer. I like the left side exhaust runs under the frame and not directly underneath the front part of the seat.

Go with the newer bike. What about a used 2009 and up Ultra. get it cheaper. Pop for a 107" kit and still be money ahead?

The 2013 will be easier to sell next year
