Default Fuel moto Jackpot header

I just recieved a power package from Fuel moto that included a jackpot headpipe. It has no flanges that mount the pipe to the cylinder. Am i missing something here? Is there not supposed to have a pre installed flange with two holes that go onto the studs that mounts it to the head?

You need to remove the flanges from your stock pipes. Remove the spring clips and slide the flanges off. Just make sure they go on the new head in the correct direction.

You need to use the old ones. The flanges are removable.

^^DITTO^^

The pipe rings/flanges are interchangeable & you just have to be careful removing/installing because they will scratch the crap out of your pipes.

Just be careful not to deform the spring clip getting it out and back in.

Can you let us know if the new pipe makes a big difference? Thinking of buying that pipe myself. Thanks!

Don't know how old your bike is, but if it has any years at all, that retainer is going to be rusted and deformed due to heat. Drop by the dealership and get yourself a couple of new ones. I would not call them "easy" to install. Nowhere for snap ring pliers to grab hold, but I did use some snap ring pliers to help separate them enough to get them over the end. Wear eye protection to be on the safe side.

Instant heat relief if you have a catalytic converter in your existing head pipe. I didn't measure the difference in heat other than my right inner thigh didn't cook afterwards. To me, it was worth it for that reason only.

I went from de-carting my stock header to this and can tell you that The reduction in heat was very noticeable. Well worth the price.
