if you have the new frame('09 and up), you really should try the dunlop american elite. buy them at dennis kirk or jake wilson. really hold the road in all weather conditions and the wear is very good. you can buy a front and rear for what the dealer is going to charge for a rear that will not perform as well.

My riding buddy just changed the rear Commander II tire. He got 13,000 miles out of it. He could have gone a bit longer...maybe another 1000 at most. So, the claim of twice the mileage did not work, at least not for my friend. I have a couple thousand on mine. Will report mileage when ready to change.
