weld it.

as above, it is a liability issue.

when my '95 was hit the frame tab for the rear crash bar was bent... I had to sign a waiver holding the repairing shop free of liability.

After talking to the dealership I was thinking along the lines of having it welded as you all stated. Now the concern is having a weld shop do the job so it is not noticeable. I will have to check around to see if I can find one. Thanks for the replies!

You could ask them to weld it without spoiling the paint, or use a paint brush.....
