Default 412 progressive

Looking to lower my 09 rk 1 in, and was looking at the 412 progressives and they seem nice and affordable... Anyone have good reviews in these shocks? And should I get the standard or heavy duty ? I'm about 160lbs and usually ride solo but two up every now and then

My Road King Classic had 1" shorter Progressive 412 on it when I bought it, they were OK if I was alone but when I would have my 125lb GF on the bike with me they would bottom out all the time, even at the stiffest setting.

I purchased the Progressive 430's and am very impressed with them. Smooth ride yet never bottom out. I think they were around $380 for the pair.

The low line progressive shocks are nothing to write home about but if the stock shocks are OK to you, you may OK with them?

The stocks are ok , just trying to lower the bike down about an inch to get my feet on the ground better , I don't want to spend a rediculous amount on shocks but I can look at the 430s I guess ... I checked with dennis Kirk and they don't have heavy duty 412s ... Where can I find a place with the heavy duty ones ?

I've been lucky with the 412's on my past bikes, and now my new to me 2001 RKC
has it.
It originally came with the stock 13" air shocks, I have a 31" inseam so I went with the 12" 412's with the heavy duty springs. I contemplated on getting the Lowprofile air shocks that HD offers, but I remember having that on my 06 RK and I didnt like it as much.
Anyway, combined with the mustang seat it makes the ride a lot better compared to stock.
ETA: I got my heavy duty ones from JPcycles
