Where have all the Road Glides Gone?

I actually found it close to where I live, the guy selling it was converting his wife's Road Glide to a Street Glide.
A few years ago, you could find used Road Glide fairings for not too much money, but now, they're a lot harder to come by. It would be cheaper to convert to a Street Glide. Even so, it's not a project for someone who doesn't like working on their bike.
I'm completely re-wiring my bike. I've got the interconnect harness for the fairing, but a Road King doesn't have the ability to connect to it. So I'm going to strip my RK harness off the bike, and install a main harness from a fairing bike, then I'll be able to plug in the interconnect harness, handlebar wiring, etc. I want all my gauges to work, the handlebar radio controls, etc. As if it came from the factory as a Road Glide.
Not counting paint, I'll have probably 2500 into the conversion. That includes shelling out over 600 bucks for a new main wiring harness. I know guys who have spent that much on a Dead Center detach fairing, so it's al good.
