Default Cleaning under the seat area

Has anyone got any good tips for cleaning the area under the seat and behind the side covers. This area is loaded with wiring, relays fuses and pretty tight. Is there anything other than a damp rag to use here to speed up the job and get all the nook and crannies without damaging all the electrical connections?

I just use a damp rag myself, too risky to wash. Don't go there much anyway and cant see it till I do.

I wash with the same mitt that I wash the rest of the bike, but only do it about twice a year....

I use a vac w/ attachments along with a long-handle-soft-bristle-brush (round)... Also good behind the fairing... Then I use a little nhigh-temp di-electric grease on the connectors/fuses... These areas are not conducive for washing with high psi water IMO...

I take my seat off when I wash my bike and it gets soap and water like the rest of the bike. Then I blow dry with a leaf blower. Never had any problem.

Use the same hose and nozzle I use on the rest of the bike. Shoot a little degreaser on and hose the grime off.

Be careful using WD-40.
WD-40 good to remove rust but it also create an invirment for rust.
