well my answer was not included eather , turn it on when I am in the mood , mostly alone and just crusing and having a great ride . sometimes I just want to enjoy the bike

 

Mines on all the time - no distraction at all. Usually iPhone MP3's or CD's.

 

If the bike is running, the stereo is on!!!!!

 

I have my IPhone in my shirt pocket and use Bose ear buds, listen to Pandora all the time. I'm not distracted, need the music.
I have a Zumo GPS with songs on the disk, but find the sound is better on Iphone.

 

I rarely listen to the CD/Radio in the cage, no need for tunes on the bike, just the sound of the pipes works for me.

 

I saw the poll and thought literally the "radio" so I voted never do not know if it works, but the OP meant tunes/music in general, so my vote should be ALWAYS I never shut it off. Just something about Rollin on my two wheels hearing good beats with the wind in my face and my eyes chewing on the surrounding scenery just makes it all right in the world for me.
