I put 578s on my 08 FLHX. Kept the stock ABS brake line, went +4" on the clutch cable. Might be a bit overkill, wanted a little extra in case I go to 12" bars. I think I've read that others normally go +2 on the clutch. Went way overkill on the harness', +10". Again, if I go bigger, no further harness mods needed.

All you need is a longer clutch cable. All other brake and electrical lines are plenty long. You will have to pull the wires through the bars. There is no dinple on the underside for the wires to come out of the control to wire externally. Not hard. Just look at the website on how to take the connectors apart.

Getting ready to do my install with these as well, did you go +2 or +4 on the clutch. I'm going to get all new braided cables anyway so I want to make sure i order the right ones the first time.

Default Just +4 on clutch

Did the same bars, all I needed was the longer clutch cable. Plenty of wire if you just move the connectors in the fairing underneath the radio. Brake should be fine, I rotated the banjo fitting to be in line with the bars, this gave a little slack, but honestly it was more aesthetic. Would have been fine without that.

I just went with the +2 clutch. This would be the next size from the stock one. I got it for like $40, but your going with braided so will be a little more

Got it! I think I'm gonna go ahead and order my cables today from Magnum Shielding. Also thinking about going with the Arlen Ness Rad III hand controls.
