Default LED truble

I have 5 MICROLAZERS LED lights on both sides of my fender I would like to use all 5 for running and 4 for brake and the top for turn. When I hook up the blinker the running light goes out. Do anyone know why or if there is a way around it?

Default the nature of led's

led's work as an electrical check valve. this means that they allow current to only flow in one direction. re trace your wiring to find out where you wired them wrong. that's my best guess without knowing anything more than your question as to why it's not working. in short, led's will not operate as a filament bulb does. a regular bulb doesn't care which direction the dc current is coming from whereas the led's will not operate if wired backwards. a voltmeter, or v.o.m. would be very helpful with your problem. oh, v.o.m. is a volt/ohm meter by the way.
