RE: Lghting a King Tour Pak
I have a 03 RKC with an old tour pak i found. Tour pak had a large plug on it. It plugs in next to the battery. The outlet has a cap in it. Also have a 07 RG it fits same place. Also on the 07 there is a small plug that I am told also works the lights although I will have to add an end to fit it. The plug under the seat on 03 also works brake light on the spoiler i added to pak.

I have one in the pac that's gray and I believe has only 2 pins I asume 1 pos and 1 neg and is about 3/8 x 1/2 in. The one on the bike which is the one I'm concerned about is on the right side of the battery and is one of those deuche plugs and I believe its the aux plug but wasn't sure if there is another one some where that's in the lighting circuit.

The harness your are looking for has three wires. On the 96 and 01 EG Classic, what we have, it has a Black (BK), Red/Yellow (R/Y), and light Blue (BE). They are maked as connector 12B Main Harness / 12 A Tour Pack harness. I've added the lightbar run/brake (Ultra) lamp to her trike. In the tour pack the will be a three or twopin connector depending on whether you have the light bar or not, but the harness from the main under the seat will have three wires. Under the metal plate in the TP the two side marker light connectors, (gray and black wires on ours) can be found. If you have the 'Classic'KingTP, there is a harness to the side markers. If you have the 'Ultra' King TP, with the light bar, the inside harnes will have three pins at the entry split to two pins for the side markers and then three carrying to the light bar.
Where they are on the 03 frame specifically I can't tell you. The Accessory plug under the seat is the 4 pin connector from your Accessory switch on the dash. Pull a cap of the three pin, leads on a 12 Volt DC meter to R/Y and groundand hit your brake, bingo.
Leads to Blue and Ground, running light, always on when ign is on, not accessory.
Sorry I can't be more specific to the 03.

You are 100% correct in the location and the plug for the tourpak on the EG's.
But he is asking about a ROADKING Classic (FLHRC). And the wiring harness is slightly different between the two models. His Bike will not have the #12 connector as part of the harness. (at least according to the manuel)
For him to wire in the tourpak lights, he can tap into the main lighting circuit, at the plug on the upper fender, or plug in at theaccessory connector under his seat (He needs to add a wire to pin #1 (orange/red wire) as that is the feed that goes live with the ignition and is not switched.
#2 is the brake lamp feed (Red/yellow wire)
#3 is the ignition feed (orange wire) switched with acces swith on his naccelle
#4 ground (black wire)
The plug on the right side he is looking at is his data plug.
