Default 2010 street glide

I have a 2010 Street glide. I have taken it to a couple different shops for an engine knock. None of the dealers can fix it or tell me anything about it. Has anyone experienced a similar condition? Thank you

introduce yourself in the intro forum, then come back here and describe your knock. unless you're a troll, then you can go **** yourself.

Hello again. It sounds like a lifter knock. It starts at around 20 mph and doesn't stop. When I pull in the clutch. The knock stops. I have taken it to several hd dealers and none of them say that it's anything. I have a hard time believing them. One, I don't want to have engine problems. Two, its very annoying to hear. Any ideas would b great as to what this could b. thank you

I would suspect inner primary bearing if it stops when you pull in the clutch.

On my 10 street glide I had a very loud ticking but not really a knock.... The ticking was what I assume to be the lifter(s). How many miles are on your bike? Maybe a clutch problem?

I had more of a clicking sound on my 10 SG, seemed to be more noisy when i first started the engine, then quieted down after a little warming up or pulling in the clutch lever. I took it to the dealer and they said it was a loose bolt on the compensator which they tightened, but leaving the site it started clicking right away. I returned and told them it was not fixed so they ended up upgrading the Compensator to the SE version and it has been quiet ever since.
