That is COMPLETELY not what I said. I said the dealer is going to want the stock ECM on the bike as that was the original question. I don't have enough hands on experience with the t-max to know if it can run diagnostics or not, but logic tells me that it should be able to do so without issue.

 

I put a full thunder max kit on my bike 3 years ago. (I had the M&M efi on my 01 Electra, not much for tuning options) best thing I ever did. Every change I make to the bike can be adjusted in this, cams, exhaust, big bore kits, etc. Software is easy to follow. When you want it dyno, just give your tuner the software that came with the unit and they can do whatever you want done. Best thing I like is being able to adjust air fuel mixture or idle speed right on my own computer. As long as I don't change this too much the auto tune will adjust enough to have my bike running great.
