2013 Road glide How about this V&H setup
Im looking to get a exhaust setup for my 2013 roadglide. I have the SE agitator heavy breather air filter and the SE super tuner already so my last thing is the actual pipes. I like the vance and hines true duals full system but im afraid its not gonna be as deep and rumbling sounding as i want and i dont want to drown out my radio so I am really wanting to get the vance and hines power dual header with a set of the vance and hines Monster round slip ons. I love the sound and the look is alot nicer then anything ive seen. Ill have the bike dyno tuned and installed correctly as well, wondering if anyone has the setup or experience with it.
thanks in advance

V&H makes some good stuff. maybe why so many have them. But there are other options that may not cost as much but look great and sound good.
Check out the SE HD night stick they come in black or Chrome and are not priced to bad at all. Put a set of them on my 2013 RGU they sound good.
Another advantage you can tune the pipes by adding or removing disks.

I run Python Mamba duals....which are made by Vance and Hines.
I think V&H calls them dresser duals?
It's a true dual system all the way back...no slip ons.
I like the cleaner look at the back because the pipes are only 2 1/2 inches....you see more of the back tire and wheel.
You do,lose that big dual exhaust look though....that's a drawback.
I love the sound....they have two baffle options and I have the original but they offer a silent baffle as well. They're definitely loud under throttle but a deep rumble at idle or cruise speed. I've never had a problem with the exhaust drowning out the radio.
Anyway...it eliminates the slip on's.

I like the V&H power duals great system to produce torque.I went with the Cobra mufflers would have rather had the V&H hi-output mufflers but at the time the budget was taking a pretty good hit.I removed all the packing and left the baffles and screens in tact.Had it dyno'ed last week after installing new cams it really sounds good and I'm happy with its performance. But Hi-output in the near future.

my Pal has V&H PD's and monster ovals ( 2011 FLHTK- lowered 1" F&R)
fit and finish are good
good performance
expensive system
he can't use his radio- I ride his bike once in a while, I can't imagine listening to that all day long
i think the system projects a tinny tone directly out the rear, I won't ride behind him closer than 100', usually I lead
IF the bike is lowered the cover on the X pipe may contact HARD on right hand turns- hard enough to relieve traction from the rear tire causing a wipe out
the clamp on the crossover MUST be installed so that no parts hang down- some allow extra threaded rod to hang which can catch a speed bump and tear the exhaust off the bike or possibly crack the transmission case
alot of guys like them- having ridden a bike with them, they are not for me.

I have V&H Power Duals and Monster Ovals on my Street Glide. The sound is VERY deep and VERY different from the way the same set up sounds on a 96. I put the same thing on a guys Road King with a 96 and my bike doesn't sound anything like his Nothing on the system is going to hit anything if its put on right. None of the clap bolts hang lower than the frame. So the frame would hit before anything on the pipes.
Anything V&H you go with I think you'll be happy as it's good stuff.
You'll get more low end torque out of the power duals but the dresser duals will be louder.
Oh yeah...I can gear my radio just fine.
