Worst mod I ever did was leaving the system on my '06 SG stock. From there it didn't matter what I did, there was always an improvement (even the J&M's).
I have an ARC 125-2 amp and Titan (yes,Hertz) 6.5 speakers and I'm done spending any more since I discovered earbuds.
At speed there's nothing better - period.

hmm.. maybe that's why a buddy of mine who owns an indy and a biker bar has the MPAK systems (don't think it's the 7) for sale at the bar for $175 and $250...

 

I guess the one advantage of being a hard of hearing, 60 year old man, is that Iam perfectly happy with my J&M's on my stock HC

 

The Titan II are from Hybrid Audio Technology--check out their website. The BT uses Imagine series.

Ive got the mpak6 and it still amazes people how much bass two speakers put out its also crystal clear! i payed i believe 400 for my 6 when j&m wanted 800 for a relabeled one. There is a vendor here that offers huge discounts on these kits! I think you payed way way to much. sorry!
