Default Wild1Chubby bars??? Beach Bars???

Hello guys, I am considering changing my stock Road King handlebar to a Wild 1 Chubby WO504 or something similar. Can you guys who are using either a beach bars or a Wild 1 Chubby WO504 or WO508 post some pics of your Road King? I am trying to get a better/more (pullback) comfortable riding position since I am not a tall guy. Pictures and comments will certainly help a lot! Thanks in advance!

Best Regards.

I had the 508 Road King bars (I've got a SG now) for years and absolutely loved them! They gave me what I consider the perfect riding position, which for me is hands low with my forearms about level. Great control on short radius turns, also. The 518 is the same bar with less pullback for taller guys. The 508's also give you something similar to the old school look of beach bars, but without being overly wide like beach bars. Good luck and let us know what you end up going with.

I'm running the HD beach bars. This is about the best picture I have of them, but they dont tell much. A lot of people say they dont like them because they feel like theyre pushing a wheelbarrow. I dont feel that way, but I understand why others would think that.

Default Road King custom bars...

Thank you very much guys! I am only concerned and definitely don't want to sacrifice comfort/wrist position for the looks! In other words... I was told that certain Wild 1 Chubbies could be very painful after a couple of hundred miles rides and I don't want that! So far I have three preferences and they are the Chubby WO504, the WO508 and the RK OEM Tall handlebar. Please keep the pics and comments coming! It is much appreciated!

You might want to consider the Harley Heritage bars for RKs.

Default RK Handlebars...

Thanks 2kids3pets, I don't know your height but I am not a tall guy (5'7") so my concern here now with the 518's is the wrist angle. Is it a normal open relaxed feel? or is it more like a 45 degree brutal angle for long rides?

Once again, thanks!

There's a thread at the top of the Touring Section dedicated to handlebars and there are many more pictures posted there of the bars you're considering.

Ride safe.
