Welcome. Just remember that your Touring Bike reacts just a tad slower than your other bike. Be safe and enjoy understanding "it's not the destination but the journey getting to the destination".

This true amongst long time Harley owners. But folks coming from metrics generally say they are going to the Darkside (like two of my Honda riding friends) when they are switching or buying a Harley.

Just did the same thing. I have been riding an 04 Kawasaki ZX6RR since it was new and decided it was time for a change. Bought a new Sportster 48 and am waiting for winter to let up so I can get out on the Harley.
