RE: Dragonfly Fairing on Roadking Custom
I got my lowers from Benjys in WV, I call and talk to Jenni. 304-523-1340. 20% off suggested retail, I've got all my HD and mustang stuff from them/her.
The lowers do have a movable vent that I open in the summer. I had them on this last summer, and ran with the vents open, I don't think I'll ever take them off.
Page 451 of the accessories catalog, priced at $649, with the 20% off they run $520.

I didn't have to change the blinkers, I had the Highway lights and blinkers moved when I bought it. But I don't see a problem with doing that.
I just liked the way the Dragonfly looked, I also like the way the deadcentercycles fairing looked on Garys bike. They had a sale on ready/painted fairings and I jumped on it. I really didn't do a lot of research,(shame on me) but so far I'm pleased.

Thanks for the replys, Gary, your ride has led me in the direction for a fairing, always liked looking at it when you posted. Waiting for the freeway trials.

Rich,
I appreciate the kind words. Since were in the same state we need to pick a weekend this summer and go for a ride!

Bay13 - I too bought one of the painted "specials" from Dragonfly for my RK Custom. I have not ridden a lot, but I don't think it will be coming off anytime soon. I like the reduced wind noise and evrything that goes with it. I have to relocate my turn signals, but other than that it was an easy installtion. Ride safe.

Hey Fellows
I'm new to the site only been a member couple months, I have a 06 RK and have been thinking about putting the Deadcenter faring on my bike. Can anyone give me any info or does anyone have one on their bike. Would love to talk to someone before buying, lot of money without getting some info first. Sounds like the Dragonfly is working out well.
