Default Got a new riding partner

The dealer where I bought my Road King had a Facebook ad for winter clearance yesterday. They had an 09 Sportster 883 with 5k miles for $2995. Sent the ad to my son and he bought it sight unseen over the phone. He just graduated college, started a new job and doesn't have much of a bankroll yet.
Not his dream bike but just gets him riding this year. Figure he can ride it for a season and still sell it for more than he paid for it if he wants.
Looking forward to riding with him when the weather cooperates!

You will enjoy the rides you take with your son. I know I love the ones I take with my sons.

Awesome. I wish my dad would get back into riding. He rode when I was a small kid and eventually gave it up. Sounds like yall will have many fun times ahead. Enjoy!

That is cool indeed. I'm sure my son will have his own to ride when he gets older as he's pretty much my number 1 passenger now. He'll be 9. Wife don't like him on it but she ain't stoppin us. She rides every blue moon so he rides with me mostly. He LOVES my bike. Enjoy sir.

That is cool...my best rides are with my son, I cherish the time we ride together.
I gave him my old bike two years ago, and he was thrilled. Plus it allowed me to teach him the safe and correct way to ride.

Have fun together.

Dave
