Default Cable/Brake Lines

Finally decided on and ordered 12" apes for my Road King. I want to get the clutch cable and brake lines ordered so I can put this together when I get home from work in a couple weeks so looking for some advice from the group. From what I can find looks like +6" on both should do but I have seen some references to +8. So should I pull the trigger on 6 or 8?

I went +6 on my 07 SG with 12" PYO bars.. kind of wish I went with the +8... clutch cable is pretty tight but workable.... used magnum cables
