Default LA Choppers Brake Line Kit

Trying to finish up my 12" Yaffe Monkey bars and all that I have left is the front brake lines which I have partially installed but I am stumped on part of it. I am trying to install the block on the bottom of the triple tree. The issue is the pin sticking out of the tree. Logically it would go in the extra hole in the middle of the distribution block. If I bolt it that way I can't get the lines to go into it because the holes seem to be in the wrong positions. I guess this is not making much sense. Does anyone have the LA Chopper kit and can post a picture of the block on the triple tree? Can that pin be taken out to install the new lines? I would think that the lines should be in the 12, 3, and nine position but becaus of that pin they connect to it in the wrong places. Maybe in the morning it will make more sense. Of course I can't find any kind of directions anywhere. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem. I took a small pair of Vice Grips and removed the pin. Make sure you use some blue lock-tight on the bolt when installing.
There was NO WAY it would fit properly with the pin in. Have had no problems since install.
Ride safe, Roger

I have done mine the same way, but there has to be another way to do it. The hole is there for a reason but no matter how I try to do it the lines don't line up correctly. If anyone out there has figured it out please post a pic.

Ummm why not just call them and ask? Probably a reason for the pin.

Have their kit on mine after installing my WO575's no problem on the install.
