Lately, I've been getting tired of it . Keep looking for black stuff to tone it down some. Just replaced the mirrorsand would like to get rid of all the chrome on the dash of my Road Glide

The sun hits chrome at certain angles and can be really annoying if you are on the road for a while.

Is there such a thing as to much chrome or is it a matter of money?

It seems that everytime I go to H-D there is chrome in the bag... When is enough, enough??
Any chrome at all,is too much!

Too much is when the look of the bike is "out of balance". This is a matter of taste and what is right for the bike.

What looked right for my RK was white, black, chrome, black, chrome, etc.

BOTY winner GMoney has mucho chrome that wouldn't necessarily lookgood on another bike.Maybe someday GMoney will add that one piece of chrome that is too much, but so far everything on his bike is in perfect taste and balance.

Getting the latest chromed doodad without thinking through how it integrates into the look of the bike can lead to an expensive downward spiral of bad taste. Also, as a general rule, don't mix themesin chrome - skulls, flames, LTR,HOG, etc.

BTW: Besides being over the top,the black frame as well as the stock rotors look awful on that Khrome King

A theme? When did words more applicable to an interior designer slip into the vocabulary of a bker?

You want chrome on your bike, do it. F the fn theme.

When H-D P&A started offering "chrome collections"

I definitely think there is a limit, but it is truely in th eyes of the owner.

don't like too much myself, but have added some to my bike since picking it up. Was thinking Chrome controls, covers and switches been keep second guessing that decision.

Collections, mixed or unmixed. So what. It ain't a THEME.

Ain't that a shame. You like something on your bike, go for it.
