My mistake. I did have the 940s. I didn't even know there were different springs available. I'm sure i had the stiff version.

 

I have the 13" HD premium shocks and I am very happy with them.

 

Huge difference between 940 and the 944's!! The 944's are completely redesigned and use the latest shock technolagy versus the 940 which was basicly a shock set up that catered to 2 up riding which is why most solo riders complained about the stiff ride! My 944's came with a much stiffer spring then i needed and they are still great! I may try the lighter spring down the line just to see how plush i can make it. By the way changing springs is free of charge with progressive.

 

The only issue I have with the HD Premium **** shock is that the spring rattles on the body of the shock.Has any one found a fix for this,or am I the only one with this rattle?

Different package for me. 08 UC w/sidecar. Looking for a shock that will keep a consistent feel without messing with air settings. The top dollar shocks are a total waste of $$ for me. No canyon carving with a hack. Just need consistent stability. Stock shocks are 13''. Any suggestions?
