Default speaker baffes vs dynamat

OK, I tried searching but got conflicting info. My fairing is about to be off for some warranty work. I have speaker baffles I could put on, but I also have a few sheets of the real thin self stick dynamat. I read conflicting information on here. Some say the baffles kill volume and bass, some say it helped. I am looking to tighten up the sound a bit and kill any of the buzzes caused by stuff in the fairing vibrating....any input is appreciated

Default polyfil

Hey Bama, look in the audio section lot of threads on this subject UltraNutz and others recommend Polyfil (pillow stuffing) I got a bag at walmart. Put a layer in your pods or wrap your speaker in the fairing with it! Pic's in the Audio Systems under the Harley Tech Forum! Not too many like the baffles under the fairing.

Get the polyf mat version for the fairing speakers and use the loose version for speaker pods and lowers.

I put Dynamat directly behind speakers then going to wrap speakers with polyfil. Dynamat was free so why not.

The only thing I would worry about is the weight

Dynamat will help with the noise-causing resonance and the baffles will tighten the sound up a click. Fill the baffles up with a little polyfil and you are good to go.

I used the polyfill and it made the bass a lot better! I bought a pillow with it for 2.85! cheapest upgrade for the stereo system!
