Default Help with changing out Front Signal Brackets 2012 Street Glide

Day off today so I thought I would start some long out put off winter mods. I bought some black powder coated front turn signal brackets and I just started to pull them off and I can't figure out an easy way to remove the turn signal wiring from the old bracket. Once you unclip the wire from underneath the fairing the plug end is too big to pass through the hole and I can't see how to disconnect the wire from the actual blinker. I hope I don't have to cut the wires just to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pop the pins out of the plug. I use a very small jewelers screwdriver to lift hte tang to release the pin.

Thanks Wolfman, I am slightly electrically challenged and can't seem to get the pins out. Any chance you could be a bit more descriptive.

Take the outer fairing off and unplug them and plug your new ones in don't cut and splice anything. There's only 7 screws holding the fairing on pretty simple task, also cover your front fender so you don't scratch it.

Sorry Fat Daddy I appreciate the help but you don't quite get where I am at. I have the actual turn signal and bracket in my hand, so I have removed the fairing, and now I want to pass the turn signal wire through the hole in the bracket so I can pass it through the new bracket. Wolfman 66's idea was great but I cannot seem to be able to push the pins out of the housing. Must be a trick.

Just figured it out. After much Googling I discovered that page A-34 of the service manual explains how to do it.

Phew.
