V&H Pro Pipe
Anyone ever try to install a Big City Thunder baffle in a Pro Pipe Chrome? If so, what were the results, and how did it sound compared to the stock V&H baffle that come withe the pipe? I like the pipe just want a different sound.

I have an 07 Ultra/103 and 255 cams-the baffle wrap burnt out so I pulled out the baffle and installed the Big City Thunder baffle-I lost a lot of my high end torque. Big disappointment-I reinstalled the baffle, drilled a 3/4" hole in the washer that is placed in the baffle from the manufacture-was much better. If I were you I would leave the stock baffle alone and put in the BCT baffle. There is going to be some difference in sound but not much The only reason why I did mine was because the baffle wrap burnt out and the pipe had a terrible sound-but now much better. Removing the baffle is no easy task-there was a lot of carbon build-up. I think I had approx. 20k on the clock-so if you have at least that it could be very difficult. I've had it apart since and it came a part very easily. Best thing to do is take the pipe to muffler shop and have him take the baffle out of the pipe and you install the BCT baffle or leave the old baffle in and install the BCT baffle-that's what I did. Installing the BCT baffle is a simple install.
